• around the rim of the bowl, you'll find black kanji characters for love, hope, and friendship
• koi fish bring good luck, they are a symbol of love and friendship
• two koi fish are a symbol of yin and yang - symbolizing harmony and balance
• moonlight on the surface of a pond with swimming koi fish symbolizes peaceful meditation and connection with nature
• the depiction of koi fish is a very popular motif in Japanese painting

About the porcelain:

• the bowl's capacity is 1.7 L and its top diameter is 24.5 cm
  
• it has very practical double handles, thanks to which even hot soup will be easy to carry and it is from the Czech porcelain factory in Dubí near Teplice
• the bowl is hand-decorated with porcelain decals, which were fired in a ceramic kiln at 820 °C
  
• you can safely wash porcelain in the dishwasher. The decorations on the bowl are very durable.
• naturally, it can be used in a microwave oven

About porcelain decals:

• porcelain decals are reproductions of my original pen drawings
• the decals are applied to the porcelain by hand, so the position of the images may slightly differ from the photo
• the decals are produced by a specialized Czech company, they are high quality and durable
