Candle in a Jar "Scent of a Spring Dream"

Let your home be illuminated by a flame with a touch of Japan!

  • glass jar decorated with reproductions of my acrylic paintings of blooming magnolias
  • I filled the jar with pure, uncolored, unscented soy wax
  • in Japan, hanami, which are cherry blossom festivals, are celebrated every summer
  • the magnolia is associated with the emperor in Japan. It was a great honor if the ruler gifted someone a magnolia bush
  • wisteria is associated with deep and devoted love in Japan, in Shintoism and Buddhism, wisteria represents purity and humility

 

About the glass:

  • the dimensions of the jar are approx. 6.5 x 6.5 cm
  • the jar is not new, but I acquired it from a second-hand shop, thus giving it new life (upcycling)
  • I hand-decorated the jar with stickers featuring realistic reproductions of my pen drawings and acrylic paintings
  • I do not recommend washing the glass in a dishwasher; it can be hand-washed with a regular cleaning agent (but definitely skip the scouring pad :)

About the candles:

  • the candle is made of soy wax and is unscented
  • it contains no animal products, palm wax, or any pesticides, herbicides, or toxic materials
  • it does not emit any harmful substances when burning, and the burning time is up to 50% longer than paraffin candles
  • old or partially used candles can be re-melted, and the wax can be reused
  • after the candle has burned down, you can continue to use the cleaned jar, for example, as a small vase
  • I also offer the service "Candles without packaging". For a fee, after the candle has burned down, I will clean the jar and refill it with wax and a wick, creating an "endless candle"
 

 

About the stickers:

  • I used stickers to decorate the jar, which stand out with vibrant colors and high durability
  • the stickers feature reproductions of my pen drawings and acrylic paintings
  • the stickers are UV resistant
  • the stickers also have a slight 3D effect
  • the stickers were made in the Czech Republic

 

About the collection "Scent of a Spring Dream" "magnolia":

  • the collection is inspired by the blooming magnolia with purple flowers, which is nicknamed "the flower that welcomes spring" in Japan
  • in this collection, you will find porcelain, glass, textiles, jewelry, and small paper items
  • I would be happy to create a custom product with this motif for you
