Adorn yourself with colorful autumn Japan!

• elegant medium-sized scarf adorned with reproductions of my acrylic paintings of chrysanthemums, maple leaves, ginkgo leaves, and spider lilies
• the scarf is multifunctional and can be used not only as a practical fashion accessory, but also as a tablecloth or for gift wrapping using the furoshiki technique
• maple trees symbolize the changeability of life, their leaves turn from yellow to orange to red
• ginkgo trees are sacred and were often planted near Shinto shrines
• spider lilies in Japanese mythology "guide the dead" and are a reminder of transience
• in Japan, the chrysanthemum is a symbol of the emperor and the imperial family

About the textile:

• the scarf dimensions are approximately 67 x 67 cm
• the colorful fabric is 100% cotton satin, the fabric has a beautiful smooth semi-gloss finish
• the scarf can be washed (even in a washing machine) at 40°C. For long-lasting top condition of the product, when washing in a washing machine, we recommend placing it in a laundry mesh bag for delicate garments.
• ironing is possible with the cotton setting, even on the right side, including steaming
• we do not recommend tumble drying
• the fabric may shrink slightly after the first wash
• the scarf was sewn directly in our studio
• the fabric is yardage composed of my original motifs and the fabric was printed by a Czech company

About furoshiki:

• traditional Japanese technique of wrapping and carrying items using a square piece of fabric
• it is used not only for gift wrapping, but you can also easily create a bag with furoshiki
• currently popular for its ecological and flexible nature
