• elegant, medium-sized scarf decorated with a reproduction of my acrylic paintings of blossoming cherry blossoms and magnolias
• the scarf is multi-functional and can be used not only as a practical fashion accessory but also as a tablecloth or for gift wrapping using the furoshiki technique
• in Japan, hanami, which are cherry blossom festivals, are celebrated every summer
• magnolia in Japan is associated with the emperor. It was a great honor if the ruler gifted someone a magnolia bush
  
• the motif of birds sitting on various trees and flowers is a very popular motif in Japanese painting

About the textile:

• the scarf dimensions are approximately 67 x 67 cm
• the colored fabric is 100% cotton satin, the fabric has a beautiful smooth semi-gloss finish
• the scarf can be washed (even in a washing machine) at 40°C. For long-lasting top condition of the product when machine washing, we recommend placing it in a delicate laundry bag.
• ironing is possible with cotton setting, even on the face, including steaming
• we do not recommend tumble drying
• the fabric may shrink slightly after the first wash
• we sewed the scarf directly in our studio
• the fabric is yardage composed of my original motifs and the fabric was printed for us by a Czech company

About furoshiki:

• traditional Japanese technique of wrapping and carrying items using a square piece of fabric
• used not only for gift wrapping, but with furoshiki you can also easily make a bag
• currently popular for its ecological friendliness and flexibility

About the collection Spring Japan:

• the collection is inspired by the trees that bloom in Japan in spring - cherry blossoms and magnolias
• I hand-painted the motifs with acrylic paints and drew them with pen and ink
