About folding "sensu" fans:

• the unfolded fan is approx. 38 cm wide
• the fan has a carved bamboo frame covered with fabric (polyester)
• I hand-painted the motif on the fan with fabric paints
  
• the fan is compact, you can easily take it in your handbag and have it at hand anytime
• because the fan is not paper but textile, it folds and unfolds well, and you don't have to worry about it getting creased by handling
