Glass jewelry set, necklace and earrings with a bird on a cherry blossom

• I painted a blue bird on a blooming cherry blossom on the glass jewelry
• My inspiration was a 19th-century Japanese wood painting from the collections of the National Gallery in Prague
  
• The depiction of various birds is a very popular motif in Japanese painting

About the glass jewelry:

• The pendant measures approximately 1.8 x 1.4 cm and the earrings 1.2 x 0.9 cm (without fastening)
• The bead was made in the traditional way in Jablonec nad Nisou
• I hand-painted the motif on the necklace with glass paints, which were fired at 160 °C
  
• You can even bathe with the jewelry without worry. The colors are waterproof due to heat fixing
• The colors are also scratch-resistant with normal use (but it's better to skip the scourer for cleaning :))
• The metal components are made of surgical steel and the chain is approx. 50 cm long
• The jewelry is packed in a gift box

About painting on jewelry:

• I hand-paint on jewelry, so each product is original
• The resulting image may differ slightly from the photograph
• I paint with special glass and porcelain paints, which are very durable after heat fixing
