• Porcelain incense stick holder decorated with a reproduction of my pen and ink drawings of magnolia flowers
• In Japan, the magnolia is associated with the emperor. It was a great honor if the ruler gifted someone a magnolia bush.
  
• The holder is ideal for Japanese incense sticks, which do not have a bamboo core, are shorter, and burn along their entire length.
  

   

About the porcelain:

• The dimensions of the holder are 5.5 x 5.5 cm
• The holder is from a Czech porcelain factory in Dubí near Teplice.
• The incense stick holder is made of a Preciosa glass bead.
• The porcelain is hand-decorated with porcelain decals, which were fired in a ceramic kiln at 820 °C.
  
• I recommend hand washing the holder so that the glass bead is not damaged.

About porcelain decals:

• Porcelain decals are reproductions of my original pen and ink drawings.
• Decals are applied to porcelain by hand, so the position of the images may differ slightly from the photo.
• Decals are produced by a specialized Czech company and are high quality and durable.

About the Spring Japan collection:

• The collection is inspired by the trees that bloom in Japan in spring - sakura and magnolia.
• I hand-painted the motifs with acrylic paints and drew them with pen and ink.
• In this collection you will find porcelain, glass, textiles, jewelry and small paper items.
