Porcelain jewelry box with a Spring Japan motif and a cushion

Let your home be refreshed by spring in Japan!

• Porcelain jewelry box decorated with reproductions of my pen drawings of blooming cherry blossoms and magnolias
  
• Inside the jewelry box is a cushion sewn from our fabric by the metre, and the images are based on my acrylic paintings and pen drawings
  
• In Japan, Hanami, the cherry blossom festivals, are celebrated every summer
• The magnolia is associated with the emperor in Japan. It was a great honor if the sovereign gifted someone a magnolia bush

About the porcelain:

• the dimensions of the jewelry box are 14 x 10 cm
• the box is hand-decorated with porcelain decals, which were fired in a ceramic kiln at 820 °C
  
• you can safely wash the porcelain in the dishwasher. The decorations on the box are very durable.
• it is a matter of course to use it in the microwave oven

About the porcelain decals:

• the porcelain decals are reproductions of my original pen drawings
• the decals are applied to the porcelain by hand, so the position of the images may slightly differ from the photo
• the decals are produced by a specialized Czech company; they are high-quality and durable

About the textile:

• the colorful fabric is 100% cotton sateen, the fabric has a beautiful smooth semi-gloss finish
• the cushion can be washed (even in a washing machine) at 40°C
• ironing is possible with the setting for cotton, even on the right side, including steaming
• we do not recommend tumble drying
• the fabric may shrink slightly after the first wash
• the fabric is yardage composed of my original motifs and the fabric was printed for us by a Czech company

• the collection is inspired by trees that bloom in Japan in spring - cherry blossoms and magnolias
• I hand-painted the motifs with acrylic paints and drew them with pen and ink
• in this collection, you will find porcelain, glass, textiles, jewelry, and small paper items
