• Porcelain sake and tea cup decorated with hand-painted blooming sakura with a blue bird
• I was inspired to paint this motif by a 19th-century woodcut held in the collections of the National Gallery in Prague
• In Japan, the festival of blooming sakura, called hanami, is celebrated in spring.
• The motif of birds sitting on various trees and flowers is very popular in Japanese painting.

 About the porcelain:

• The cup's capacity is 50 ml
  
• The cup is from a Czech porcelain factory in Dubí near Teplice.
• The porcelain is decorated with my original hand painting using special porcelain paints (colored glazes) that were fired in a ceramic kiln at 1160 °C.
  
• You can safely wash the porcelain in the dishwasher. The decorations on the cup are very durable.
• Of course, it can be used in the microwave.

About hand painting:

• I hand paint on porcelain, so each product is original.
• The resulting image may differ slightly from the photograph.
• I use special colored glazes that are very durable.
