Sake cup with Japanese castle, 50 ml volume

• Sake cup decorated with a reproduction of my pen-and-ink drawings of a Japanese castle with a golden sun
• castles were key military centers during clan conflicts
• after the unification of Japan, castles were transformed into residences for nobles
• among the most famous castles are Himeji-jo "White Heron Castle" and Matsumoto-jo "Crow Castle"

About the porcelain:

• the cup volume is 50 ml
• the cup is from a Czech porcelain factory in Dubí near Teplice
• the cup is hand-decorated with porcelain decals, which were fired in a ceramic kiln at 820 °C
  
• you can safely wash the porcelain in a dishwasher. The decorations on the cup are very durable.
• use in a microwave oven is a given

About porcelain decals:

• the porcelain decals are reproductions of my original pen-and-ink drawings
• the decals are applied to the porcelain by hand, so the position of the images may differ slightly from the photo
• the decals are produced by a specialized Czech company and are high-quality and durable

• the collection is inspired by significant structures of historical Japan: a pagoda, a torii gate, and a castle
