• porcelain mug decorated with a reproduction of my pen drawings of flowering magnolias
• in Japan, magnolias are associated with the emperor. It was a great honor if the emperor gifted someone a magnolia bush
• the inscription on the back of the mug is the Japanese character for magnolia 泰山木

 About the porcelain:

• the volume of the mug is 250 ml
• the mug is from the Czech porcelain factory in Dubí u Teplic
• the mug is hand-decorated with porcelain decals, which were fired in a ceramic kiln at 820 °C
  
• you can safely wash porcelain in the dishwasher. The decorations on the mug are very durable.
• use in the microwave oven is a matter of course

About porcelain decals:

• porcelain decals are reproductions of my original pen drawings
• the decals are applied to porcelain by hand, so the position of the images may differ slightly from the photo
• the decals are produced by a specialized Czech company, they are high quality and durable

About the Spring Japan collection:

• the collection is inspired by the trees that bloom in Japan in spring - sakura and magnolia
• I hand-painted the motifs with acrylic paints and drew them with pen and ink
• in this collection you will find porcelain, glass, textiles, jewelry and small paper items
