• In Japan, the magnolia is associated with the emperor. It was a great honour if the ruler presented someone with a magnolia bush.
• Chopsticks are from the brand Made in Japan and are dishwasher safe.

About the porcelain:

• the dimensions of the chopstick rest are 6 x 1.5 cm
• the chopstick rest is from a Czech porcelain factory in Dubí near Teplice
• the chopstick rest is hand-decorated with porcelain decals, which were fired in a ceramic kiln at 820 °C
  
• you can safely wash porcelain in the dishwasher. The decorations on the chopstick rest are very durable.
• use in the microwave oven is a matter of course

About porcelain decals:

• porcelain decals are reproductions of my original pen drawings
• the decals are applied to the porcelain by hand, so the position of the images may differ slightly from the photo
• the decals are produced by a specialized Czech company; they are high quality and durable

About the Spring Japan collection:

• the collection is inspired by the trees that bloom in Japan in spring - cherry blossoms and magnolias
• I hand-painted the motifs with acrylic paints and drew them with pen and ink
• in this collection, you will find porcelain, glass, textiles, jewellery, and paper trinkets
