About the porcelain:

• the chopstick rest is from the Czech porcelain factory in Dubí near Teplice
• the porcelain is decorated with my original hand painting using special porcelain paints (colored glazes) that were fired in a ceramic kiln at 1160 °C
  
• you can safely wash the porcelain in the dishwasher. The decorations on the chopstick rest are very durable.
• of course, it is suitable for use in the microwave oven
