Square Chopstick Rest with Pagoda, 5.5x5.5 cm
Decorate your home with historical Japan!
- Porcelain chopstick rest adorned with reproductions of my pen drawings of a pagoda with a golden sun
- Pagodas are multi-story towers, built of wood, that arrived in Japan in the 6th century along with Buddhism.
- A pagoda often has five stories, each symbolizing one of the five Buddhist elements (earth, water, fire, wind, and sky).
-
Pagodas are part of temple complexes, and prayer areas for ceremonies are located around them.
About the porcelain:
- The dimensions of the chopstick rest are 5.5 x 5.5 cm.
- The chopstick rest is from a Czech porcelain factory in Dubí near Teplice.
-
The chopstick rest is hand-decorated with porcelain decals, fired in a ceramic kiln at 820 °C.
- You can safely wash porcelain in the dishwasher. The decorations on the chopstick rest are very durable.
- Microwave oven use is also a matter of course.

About porcelain decals:
- Porcelain decals are reproductions of my original pen drawings.
- Decals are applied to porcelain by hand, so the position of the images may vary slightly from the photo.
- Decals are produced by a specialized Czech company; they are high-quality and durable.
About the collection Architecture of Ancient Japan:
- The collection is inspired by significant structures of historical Japan: the pagoda, torii gate, and castle.
- In this collection, you will find porcelain, textiles, and paper trinkets.
- I would be happy to place this motif on another mug or anything else for you.
