• Original painting on handmade paper, painted by me using a combination of acrylic and pen drawing
• My inspiration was a 19th-century Japanese wood painting, which is in the collections of the National Gallery in Prague.
  
• The depiction of various birds is a very popular motif in Japanese painting.

About the paper:

• The paper measures approximately 200 x 145 mm (smaller than A5 format)
• It is handmade paper with a distinct texture and embedded dried leaves.
• The paper has a light yellow color.
• The paper is suitable for framing.

About the hand painting:

• The pictures are hand-painted by me, so each one is original.
• The picture may differ slightly from the photo, as it is not easy to photograph handmade paper with a painting realistically, and each monitor or phone display shows colors differently.
• I painted the picture with acrylic paints in combination with pen drawing.

About the Bird on a Sakura collection:

• The collection is inspired by a 19th-century Japanese wood painting found in the Asian collections of the National Gallery in Prague.
• In this collection, you will find porcelain, glass, textiles, jewelry, and small paper items.
• I would be happy to paint this motif for you on another mug or anything else.
