Practical adjustable book cover with bamboo, pine, and plum or the Three Friends of Winter
Your Japanese-style home!
- practical large textile book cover decorated with a reproduction of my acrylic painting Three Friends of Winter
- Three Friends of Winter is a popular East Asian motif representing three plants – bamboo, pine, and plum
- in Japan, it is associated with New Year's celebrations
- these plants are valued in Japanese culture for their resilience to cold and symbolize perseverance, determination, and indomitability
About the textile:
- the height of the cover is approx. 26 cm and the width is 50 cm (unfolded).
- this cover is "adjustable", making it suitable for larger books. Thanks to the sewn-in elastic, the book won't move inside the cover :)
- the colored fabric is made of 100% cotton, the natural-colored lining is made of waterproof polyester
- the back of the cover is dark green
-
the textile is decorated with digital print according to my design
- the product can be washed (even in a washing machine) at 30°C.
- ironing is possible with cotton setting, even on the right side, including steaming

About digital printing:
- the images on the textile are reproductions of my original pen drawings and acrylic paintings
- we print images on textile using direct printing
- we always prepare images for prints by hand, so the position of the images may slightly differ from the photo
About the collection Three Friends of Winter:
- the collection is inspired by the popular East Asian motif depicting bamboo, pine, and plum
- in this collection, you will find porcelain, glass, textiles, jewelry, and small paper items
- I would be happy to create a custom product with this motif for you
