• practical small fabric book cover with a motif inspired by a bird on a blooming cherry blossom tree
• I was inspired to paint this motif by a 19th-century woodcut which is in the collections of the National Gallery in Prague
• in Japan, the cherry blossom festival called hanami is celebrated in spring
• the motif of birds sitting on various trees and flowers is a very popular motif in Japanese painting
  

   

 About the textile:

• the dimensions of the textile book cover are approximately 22 x 16 cm
• a bookmark is sewn into the cover
• the colored fabric is made of 100% cotton, the lining in natural color is made of waterproof polyester
  
• the back of the cover is pink
• the textile is decorated with digital print according to my design
  
• the product can be washed (even in a washing machine) at 30°C
• ironing is possible with cotton setting, even on the face including steaming

About digital printing:

• the images on the textile are reproductions of my original pen drawings and acrylic paintings
• we always prepare the images for printing manually, so the position of the images may differ slightly from the photograph
