• this motif was inspired by a 19th-century woodcut in the collections of the National Gallery in Prague
• in Japan, the festival of blooming cherry blossoms called hanami is celebrated in spring
• the motif of birds sitting on various trees and flowers is a very popular motif in Japanese painting
  
• You can use the bowl traditionally for soup or salad. However, it can also serve as a candle holder or a dish for jewelry or other small items.

About the porcelain:

• The bowl has a volume of 0.35 l, is 6 cm high, and has an upper diameter of 15 cm.
• The bowl has a beautiful round shape and is from the Czech porcelain factory in Dubí near Teplice
• the porcelain is decorated with my original hand-painting using special porcelain paints (colored glazes) that were fired in a ceramic kiln at 1160 °C
  
• you can safely wash the porcelain in the dishwasher. The decorations on the bowl are very durable.
• use in the microwave oven is a matter of course

About hand-painting:

• I hand-paint porcelain, so each product is original
• the resulting image may differ slightly from the photo
• I paint with special colored glazes that are very durable
