• the scarf is multi-functional and can be used not only as a practical fashion accessory but also as a table cover or for gift wrapping using the furoshiki technique
• the Three Friends of Winter is a popular East Asian motif representing three plants – bamboo, pine, and plum
• in Japan, it is associated with New Year celebrations
• these plants are valued in Japanese culture for their resilience to cold and symbolize perseverance, determination, and steadfastness

About the textile:

• the scarf dimensions are approximately 52 x 52 cm
• the colored fabric is 100% cotton sateen, the fabric has a beautiful smooth semi-gloss finish
• the scarf can be washed (even in a washing machine) at 40°C. For long-lasting top condition of the product, when machine washing, we recommend placing it in a laundry mesh bag for delicate items.
• ironing is possible with a cotton setting, even on the right side, including steaming
• we do not recommend tumble drying
• the fabric may shrink slightly after the first wash
• we sewed the scarf directly in our studio
• the fabric is yardage composed of my original motifs and the fabric was printed for us by a Czech company

About furoshiki:

• a traditional Japanese technique for wrapping and carrying things using a square piece of cloth
• it is used not only for gift wrapping, but you can also easily make a bag using furoshiki
• currently popular for its ecological friendliness and flexibility
