• elegant small scarf decorated with a reproduction of my acrylic paintings of chrysanthemums, maple leaves, ginkgo leaves, and spider lilies
• the scarf is multi-functional and can be used not only as a practical fashion accessory but also as a table cloth or for gift wrapping using the furoshiki technique
• maple trees symbolize the variability of life;their leaves change color from yellow through orange to red
• ginkgo trees are sacred and were often planted near Shinto shrines
• in Japanese mythology, the spider lily "accompanies the dead" and is a reminder of transience
• in Japan, the chrysanthemum is a symbol of the emperor and the imperial family

About the textile:

• the scarf dimensions are approx. 52 x 52 cm
• the colorful fabric is 100% cotton sateen,the fabric has a beautiful smooth semi-gloss finish
• the scarf can be washed (even in a washing machine) at 40°C. For long-lasting top condition of the product when washing in a washing machine, we recommend placing it in a delicate laundry net.
• ironing is possible with the cotton setting, even on the face of the fabric and with steaming
• we do not recommend tumble drying
• the fabric may shrink slightly after the first wash
• we sewed the scarf directly in our studio
• the fabric is yardage composed of my original motifs and the fabric was printed by a Czech company

About furoshiki:

• a traditional Japanese technique of wrapping and carrying things using a square piece of fabric
• it is used not only for gift wrapping, but you can also easily make a bag using furoshiki
• currently popular for its eco-friendliness and flexibility
