• in Japan, hanami, which are cherry blossom festivals, are celebrated every summer
• magnolia is associated with the emperor in Japan. It was a great honor if the sovereign presented someone with a magnolia bush
  
• the motif of birds sitting on various trees and flowers is a very popular motif in Japanese painting

About the textile:

• the dimensions of the scarf are approximately 52 x 52 cm
• the colorful fabric is 100% cotton sateen, the fabric has a beautiful smooth semi-gloss finish
• the scarf can be washed (even in a washing machine) at 40°C. For long-lasting top condition of the product when washing in a washing machine, we recommend placing it in a delicate laundry net.
• ironing is possible with the setting for cotton, even on the face, including steaming
• we do not recommend tumble drying
• the fabric may shrink slightly after the first wash
• we sewed the scarf directly in our studio
• the fabric is yardage composed of my original motifs and the fabric was printed by a Czech company

About furoshiki:

• a traditional Japanese technique for wrapping and carrying items using a square piece of fabric
• it is used not only for gift wrapping, but you can also easily make a bag using furoshiki
• currently popular for its eco-friendliness and flexibility
