Hand-painted round "uchiwa" fan "Bird on Cherry Blossom" 

Adorn yourself with our little bird and cherry blossoms!

• I painted a blue bird on a blooming cherry blossom on the fan.
• My inspiration was a 19th-century Japanese wood painting, which is in the collections of the National Gallery in Prague.

About round "uchiwa" fans:

• the fan is about 24 cm wide and 38 cm long (including the handle)
• the fan has a sturdy bamboo frame covered with paper on both sides
• I hand-painted the motif on the fan with acrylic paints and ink
  
• it is a traditional Japanese fan called "uchiwa"

About fan painting:

• I hand-paint on fans, so each product is original 
• the resulting image may differ slightly from the photograph 
• I paint with acrylic paints and ink
• I have fixed the colors with clear matte varnish for greater durability
