Ceramic necklace with bamboo, pine, and plum, also known as the Three Friends of Winter
Your home in Japanese style!
- I painted the Three Friends of Winter on the ceramic necklace
- the Three Friends of Winter is a popular East Asian motif representing three plants – bamboo, pine, and plum
- in Japan, it is associated with New Year celebrations
- these plants are valued in Japanese culture for their resistance to cold and symbolize perseverance, determination, and resilience
About ceramic jewelry:
- the ceramic pendant has a diameter of 40 mm
- all ceramic components were handmade according to my design in a family ceramic workshop in Bořice near Domažlice
-
I hand-painted the motif on the necklace with ceramic paints that were fired at 160 °C
- you can even bathe with the necklace without worries. The colors are waterproof thanks to heat fixation
- the colors are also scratch-resistant with normal use (but it's better to avoid scouring pads for cleaning :))
- metal components are made of surgical steel and the chain is approx. 50 cm long
-
jewelry is packaged in a gift box

About painting on jewelry:
- I hand-paint on jewelry, so each product is original
- the resulting image may differ slightly from the photo
- I paint with special glass and porcelain paints that are very durable after heat fixation
About the collection Three Friends of Winter:
- the collection is inspired by a popular East Asian motif depicting bamboo, pine, and plum
- in this collection, you will find porcelain, glass, textiles, jewelry, and paper odds and ends
- I would be happy to make a custom product for you with this motif
