Ceramic Necklace with Origami Cat

Origami that won't get crushed! Because it's not made of paper...

• ceramic necklace adorned with an origami fold of a cat
• the most common inspiration for origami folds are animals and flowers
• the history of origami dates back to the 9th century, when it was used to decorate Shinto shrines

About ceramic jewelry:

• the ceramic pendant measures 34 x 34 mm or 24 x 28 mm
• all ceramic components were handmade according to my design in a family ceramic workshop in Bořice near Domažlice
• The ceramics are hand-decorated with porcelain decals, which were fired at 160 °C
  
• you can even bathe with the necklace without worry. The colors are waterproof thanks to heat fixing
• the colors are also scratch-resistant with normal use (but it's better to avoid scrubbing pads :))
• metal components are made of surgical steel and the chain is approximately 50 cm long
• the jewelry is packaged in a gift box

About porcelain decals:

• porcelain decals are reproductions of my computer graphics, where I tried to capture the 3D spirit of origami in 2D using different colors
• the decals are applied to the porcelain by hand, so the position of the images may differ slightly from the photo
• the decals are produced by a specialized Czech company and are high quality and durable
