Ceramic Necklace with Koi Carp

Let summer Japan refresh you!

• I painted orange and white koi carp on the ceramic necklace
• koi carp bring good luck, they are a symbol of love and friendship
• two carp are a symbol of yin and yang - symbolizing harmony and balance
• the depiction of koi carp is a very popular motif in Japanese painting

About ceramic jewelry:

• the ceramic rectangle measures approximately 32 x 42 mm
• all ceramic components were handmade according to my design in a family ceramic workshop in Bořice u Domažlic
• I hand-painted the motif on the necklace with ceramic paints, which were fired at 160 °C
  
• you can even bathe with the necklace without worries. Thanks to heat fixation, the colors are waterproof
• the colors are also scratch-resistant with normal use (but it's better to avoid using a scourer for cleaning :))
• metal components are made of surgical steel and the chain is approx. 50 cm long
• the jewelry is packaged in a gift box

About painting on jewelry:

• I hand-paint on jewelry, so each product is an original
• the resulting image may differ slightly from the photograph
• I paint with special glass and porcelain paints, which are very durable after heat fixation

• the collection is inspired by colorful koi carp, which are the jewels of ponds not only in Japanese gardens
• in this collection you will find porcelain, glass, textiles, jewelry and small paper items
