Ceramic necklace with bamboo grove motif
Walk through a bamboo grove... right in your home!
- I painted bamboo branches on the ceramic necklace
- bamboo is part of various Japanese festivals such as Tanabata
- in Japan, bamboo groves are believed to ward off evil spirits and bring good luck
-
the depiction of bamboo is a very popular motif in Japanese painting
About ceramic jewelry:
- the ceramic pendant measures approximately 30 x 30 mm
- all ceramic components were handmade according to my design in a family pottery workshop in Bořice near Domažlice
-
I hand-painted the motif on the necklace with ceramic paints, which were fired at 160 °C
- you can even bathe with the necklace without worries. Thanks to heat fixation, the colors are waterproof
- the colors are also scratch-resistant with normal use (but you'd better skip the steel wool for cleaning :))
- metal components are made of surgical steel and the chain is approximately 50 cm long
-
the jewelry is packaged in a gift box

About painting on jewelry:
- I hand-paint on jewelry, so each product is original
- the resulting image may differ slightly from the photo
- I paint with special glass and porcelain paints, which are very durable after heat fixation
About the collection Bamboo Grove:
- the collection is inspired by colorful koi carp, which are jewels of ponds not only in Japanese gardens
- in this collection you will find porcelain, glass, textiles, jewelry and small paper items
- I would be happy to make a custom product with this motif for you
