Ceramic earrings with a bird on a sakura tree

Adorn yourself with our little bird and sakura blossoms!

• I painted a blue bird on a blossoming sakura tree on the ceramic earrings
• in Japan, the festival of blooming cherry blossoms called hanami is celebrated in spring
• I was inspired by a 19th-century Japanese wood painting that is part of the collections of the National Gallery in Prague
  
• depictions of various birds are a very popular motif in Japanese painting

About ceramic jewelry:

• the dimensions of the ceramic ornament are approx. 18 x 18 mm.
• all ceramic components were handmade according to my design in a family ceramic workshop in Bořice near Domažlice
• I hand-painted the motif on the earrings with ceramic paints, which were fired at 160 °C
  
• you can even bathe with the earrings without worries. Thanks to heat fixation, the colors are waterproof
• the colors are also scratch-resistant with normal use (but it's better to skip the scourer for cleaning :))
• the earring clasp is made of surgical steel and is mechanical (snap-closure) for greater safety
• the jewelry comes in a gift box

About painting on jewelry:

• I hand-paint on the jewelry, which is why each product is an original
• the resulting image may differ slightly from the photo
• I paint with special glass and porcelain paints, which are very durable after heat fixation
