Ceramic earrings with chrysanthemum

• I painted chrysanthemum flowers on ceramic earrings
• in Japan, the chrysanthemum is a symbol of the emperor and the imperial family
• for this collection, I chose the yellow-orange variation of the flowers, which is also on the imperial seal

About ceramic jewelry:

• the diameter of the ceramic ornament is 18 mm
• all ceramic components were handmade according to my design in a family ceramic workshop in Bořice u Domažlic
• I hand-painted the motif on the earrings with ceramic paints, which were fired at 160 °C
  
• you can safely bathe with the earrings. The colors are waterproof due to heat fixation
• the colors are also scratch-resistant with normal use (but rather avoid using a scouring pad for cleaning :))
• the earring clasp is made of surgical steel and is mechanical (snap-closure) for greater security
• the jewelry is packaged in a gift box

About painting on jewelry:

• I hand-paint on jewelry, so each product is original
• the resulting image may differ slightly from the photograph
• I paint with special glass and porcelain paints, which are very durable after heat fixation
