Ceramic earrings with a bamboo grove motif

Take a walk through a bamboo grove... even at your home!

• I painted bamboo branches on the ceramic earrings
• bamboo is part of various Japanese festivals such as Tanabata
• in Japan, bamboo groves are believed to ward off evil spirits and bring good luck
• the depiction of bamboo is a very popular motif in Japanese painting

About ceramic jewelry:

• the diameter of the ceramic ornament is 18 mm
• all ceramic components were handmade according to my design in a family ceramic workshop in Bořice near Domažlice
• I hand-painted the motif on the earrings with ceramic paints that were fired at 160 °C
  
• you can even bathe with the earrings without worries. The colors are waterproof thanks to heat fixing
• the colors are also scratch-resistant with normal use (but it's better to skip using a scouring pad for cleaning :))
• the earring clasp is made of surgical steel and is mechanical (snap-closure) for greater safety
• the jewelry is packed in a gift box

About painting on jewelry:

• I hand-paint on jewelry, so each product is original 
• the resulting image may differ slightly from the photograph 
• I paint with special glass and porcelain paints, which are very durable after heat setting

• the collection is inspired by colorful koi carp, which are jewels of ponds not only in Japanese gardens
• in this collection you will find porcelain, glass, textiles, jewelry and small paper items
