Ceramic brooch with blooming sakura
Adorn yourself with pink sakura blossoms!
- I painted pink blossoms of blooming sakura on the ceramic brooch
- in Japan, the festival of blooming sakura, called hanami, is celebrated in spring
-
the rain of falling pink petals symbolizes the transience of human life in Japan
About ceramic jewelry:
- the diameter of the ceramic ornament is 40 mm
- all ceramic components were handmade according to my design in a family ceramic workshop in Bořice near Domažlice
-
I hand-painted the motif on the brooch with ceramic paints that were fired at 160 °C
- thanks to heat fixation, the colors are waterproof, so it doesn't matter if you get caught in the rain with the brooch on your coat
- the colors are also scratch-resistant with normal use (but it's better to skip the scourer for cleaning :))
- the brooch pin with clasp is made of jewelry metal.
- the jewelry is packaged in a gift box

About painting on jewelry:
- I hand paint on jewelry, so each product is original
- the resulting image may differ slightly from the photograph
- I paint with special glass and porcelain paints, which are very durable after heat fixation
About the collection Morning under the Sakura (aka hanami):
- the collection is inspired by blooming sakura and their festival called hanami
- in this collection you will find porcelain, glass, textiles, jewelry and paper trinkets
- I would be happy to create a custom product for you with this motif
