Hand-painted ceramic hair clip with Totoro and Soot Sprites

Brighten up your home with cute Japanese forest spirits!

• I painted the forest spirit Totoro and the Soot Sprites on a ceramic hair clip.
• The images are from the immensely popular animated film My Neighbor Totoro by Studio Ghibli.
  

About ceramic jewelry:

• the clip is 6 cm long
• all ceramic components were handmade according to my design in a family ceramic workshop in Bořice near Domažlice
• I hand-painted the motif on the clip with ceramic paints, which were fired at 160 °C.
  
• thanks to heat fixing, the colors are waterproof, so it doesn't matter if you get wet with the clip in your hair
  
• the colors are also scratch-resistant with normal use (but it's better to avoid scrubbing with a scourer :))
• the clip is made of surgical steel
  
• the jewelry is packaged in a gift box

About painting on jewelry:

• I hand-paint the jewelry, so each product is original.
• the resulting image may differ slightly from the photo.
• I use special paints for glass and porcelain, which are very durable after heat fixing.
