Ceramic mini brooch with a bird on a cherry blossom

Decorate yourself with our little bird and cherry blossom flowers!

• I painted a blue bird on a blooming cherry blossom on the ceramic brooch
• My inspiration was a 19th-century Japanese wood painting, which is in the collections of the National Gallery in Prague
  
• depictions of various birds are a very popular motif in Japanese painting

About ceramic jewelry:

• the ceramic ornament measures approx. 18 x 18 mm
• all ceramic components were handmade according to my design in a family ceramic workshop in Bořice near Domažlice
• I hand-painted the motif on the brooch using ceramic paints that were fired at 160 °C
  
• thanks to heat fixation, the colors are waterproof, so it doesn't matter if you get caught in the rain with the brooch on your coat
• the colors are also scratch-resistant with normal use (but it's better to avoid a scouring pad for cleaning :))
• the brooch pin is made of surgical steel
• the jewelry is packaged in a gift box

About painting on jewelry:

• I hand-paint on jewelry, so each product is original
• the resulting image may differ slightly from the photograph
• I paint with special glass and porcelain paints, which are very durable after heat fixation
