Ceramic mini brooch with chrysanthemum
Decorate yourself with autumn Japan!
- I painted chrysanthemum flowers on the ceramic brooch
- in Japan, the chrysanthemum is a symbol of the emperor and the imperial family
-
for this collection, I chose a yellow-orange variation of the flowers, which is also on the imperial seal
About ceramic jewelry:
- the ceramic ornament measures approximately 18 x 18 mm
- all ceramic components were handmade according to my design in a family ceramic workshop in Bořice near Domažlice
-
I hand-painted the motif on the brooch with ceramic paints, which were fired at 160 °C
- the colors are waterproof thanks to heat fixing, so it doesn't matter if you get wet with the brooch on your coat
- the colors are also scratch-resistant with normal use (but it's better to skip the scourer for cleaning :))
- the brooch pin is made of surgical steel
-
the jewelry is packed in a gift box

About painting on jewelry:
- I hand-paint on jewelry, so each product is original
- the resulting image may differ slightly from the photo
- I use special paints for glass and porcelain, which are very durable after heat fixing
About the Imperial Chrysanthemum collection:
- the collection is inspired by the chrysanthemum, which is a symbol of the Japanese emperor and his family
- in this collection you will find porcelain, glass, textiles, jewelry and small paper items
- I will gladly make a custom product with this motif for you
