Ceramic mini brooch with bamboo grove motif

Walk through a bamboo grove... even in your home!

• I painted bamboo twigs on the ceramic brooch
• bamboo is part of various Japanese festivals such as Tanabata
• in Japan, bamboo groves are believed to ward off evil spirits and bring good luck
• the depiction of bamboo is a very popular motif in Japanese painting

About ceramic jewelry:

• the ceramic ornament measures approximately 17 x 17 mm
• all ceramic components were handmade according to my design in a family ceramic workshop in Bořice near Domažlice
• I hand-painted the motif on the brooch with ceramic paints, which were fired at 160 °C
  
• the colors are waterproof due to heat setting, so it doesn't matter if you get wet with the brooch on your coat
• the colors are also scratch-resistant with normal use (but it's better to skip the scourer for cleaning :))
• the brooch pin is made of surgical steel
• jewelry is packaged in a gift box

About painting on jewelry:

• I hand-paint on jewelry, so each product is original
• the resulting image may differ slightly from the photo
• I use special paints for glass and porcelain, which are very durable after heat setting
