• I painted pink blooming cherry blossoms on the ceramic brooch
• in Japan, the festival of blooming cherry blossoms called hanami is celebrated in spring
• the rain of falling pink blossoms symbolizes the transience of human life in Japan

About ceramic jewelry:

• the diameter of the white brooch is 35 mm and the diameter of the pink brooch is 45 mm
  
• all ceramic components were handmade according to my design in a family ceramic workshop in Bořice near Domažlice
• I hand-painted the motif on the brooch with ceramic paints, which were fired at 160 °C
  
• the colors are waterproof due to heat fixation, so it doesn't matter if you get wet with the brooch on your coat
  
• the colors are also scratch-resistant with normal use (but you'd better skip the scourer for cleaning :))
• the brooch pin is made of surgical steel and has a safety clasp
• the jewelry is packaged in a gift box

About painting on jewelry:

• I hand-paint on jewelry, so each product is original
• the resulting image may differ slightly from the photograph
• I paint with special glass and porcelain paints, which are very durable after heat fixation
