• The ceramic brooch is decorated with an origami lotus
• the most common inspirations for origami folds are animals and flowers
• the history of origami dates back to the 9th century, when they were used to decorate Shinto shrines

About ceramic jewelry:

• the ceramic decoration measures approx. 35 x 35 mm
• all ceramic components were handmade according to my design in a family pottery workshop in Bořice near Domažlice
• the brooch is hand-decorated with porcelain decals, which were fired at 160 °C
  
• thanks to heat fixation, the colors are waterproof, so it doesn't matter if you get caught in the rain with the brooch on your coat
• the colors are also scratch-resistant with normal use (but it's better to skip the scourer for cleaning :))
• the brooch pin is made of surgical steel and has a safety clasp
• the jewelry is packaged in a gift box

About porcelain decals:

• the porcelain decals are a reproduction of my computer graphics, where I tried to capture the 3D spirit of origami in 2D using various colors
• the decals are applied to the porcelain by hand, so the position of the images may differ slightly from the photograph
• the decals are produced by a specialized Czech company; they are high-quality and durable
