• On the ceramic brooch, I painted lotuses floating above the water surface of a pond in a Japanese garden
• lotuses are associated with Buddhism in Japan and other Asian countries
  
• lotuses are a symbol of purity, truth and perfection
• the scent of lotus flowers carries far and wide, and the further it travels, the clearer and purer the scent becomes

About ceramic jewellery:

• the diameter of the ceramic ornament is 35 mm
• all ceramic components were handmade according to my design in a family pottery workshop in Bořice near Domažlice
• I hand-painted the motif on the brooch with ceramic paints, which were fired at 160 °C
  
• the colours are water-resistant thanks to heat fixation, so it doesn't matter if you get caught in the rain with the brooch on your coat
  
• the colours are also scratch-resistant with normal use (but it's better to avoid scouring pads for cleaning :))
• the brooch pin is made of surgical steel and has a safety clasp
• jewellery is packaged in a gift box

About jewellery painting:

• I hand-paint on jewellery, so each product is original
• the final image may differ slightly from the photograph
• I paint with special glass and porcelain paints, which are very durable after heat fixation
