Ceramic brooch with an elegant cherry blossom

• I painted a pink flower of a blooming sakura on the ceramic brooch
• in Japan, the festival of blooming cherry blossoms called hanami is celebrated in spring
• the rain of falling pink blossoms symbolizes the transience of human life in Japan

About ceramic jewelry:

• the diameter of the ceramic ornament is 35 mm
• all ceramic components were handmade according to my design in a family ceramic workshop in Bořice near Domažlice
• I hand-painted the motif on the brooch with ceramic paints, which were fired at 160 °C
  
• thanks to heat fixing, the colors are waterproof, so it doesn't matter if you get wet with the brooch on your coat
  
• the colors are also scratch-resistant with normal use (but it's better to avoid scouring pads for cleaning :))
• the brooch pin is made of surgical steel and has a safety clasp
• jewelry is packaged in a gift box

About jewelry painting:

• I hand-paint on jewelry, which is why each product is an original
• the resulting image may differ slightly from the photograph
• I paint with special glass and porcelain paints, which are very durable after heat setting
