Ceramic brooch with a motif of a long-lived pine tree

• I painted sprigs of a long-lived pine tree on the ceramic brooch
• pine trees are an integral part of Japanese gardens, especially as solitary trees
• the pine tree is a symbol of longevity

About ceramic jewellery:

• the ceramic ornament measures approximately 35 x 35 mm
• all ceramic components were handmade according to my design in a family ceramic workshop in Bořice near Domažlice
• I hand-painted the motif on the brooch with ceramic paints, which were fired at 160 °C
  
• thanks to heat fixation, the colors are waterproof, so it doesn't matter if you get caught in the rain with the brooch on your coat
• the colors are also scratch-resistant with normal use (but it's better to avoid a scouring pad for cleaning :))
• the brooch pin is made of surgical steel and has a safety clasp
• the jewellery comes in a gift box

About painting on jewellery:

• I hand-paint on jewellery, so each product is unique
• the resulting image may differ slightly from the photograph
• I paint with special glass and porcelain paints, which are very durable after heat fixation
