Ceramic brooch with bamboo grove motif
Walk through a bamboo grove... right in your home!
- I painted bamboo twigs on the ceramic brooch
- bamboo is part of various Japanese festivals such as Tanabata
- in Japan, bamboo groves are believed to ward off evil spirits and bring good luck
-
the depiction of bamboo is a very popular motif in Japanese painting
About ceramic jewelry:
- the ceramic ornament measures approximately 35 x 35 mm
- all ceramic components were handmade according to my design in a family ceramic workshop in Bořice near Domažlice
-
I hand-painted the motif on the brooch with ceramic paints, which were fired at 160 °C
- the colors are waterproof thanks to heat fixation, so it doesn't matter if you get caught in the rain with the brooch on your coat
- the colors are also scratch-resistant with normal use (but it's better to avoid scouring pads for cleaning :))
- the brooch pin is made of surgical steel and has a safety clasp
-
the jewelry is packaged in a gift box

About painting on jewelry:
- I hand-paint on jewelry, so each product is original
- the resulting image may differ slightly from the photograph
- I paint with special glass and porcelain paints, which are very durable after heat fixation
About the Bamboo Grove collection:
- the collection is inspired by colorful koi carp, which are the jewels of ponds not only in Japanese gardens
- in this collection you will find porcelain, glass, textiles, jewelry and small paper items
- I will also be happy to make a custom product with this motif for you
