• Porcelain mug decorated with hand-painted blossoming sakura with a blue bird
  
• I was inspired to paint this motif by a 19th-century woodcut housed in the collections of the National Gallery in Prague
• in Japan, the festival of blossoming sakura called hanami is celebrated in spring
• the motif of birds sitting on various trees and flowers is a very popular motif in Japanese painting

About the porcelain:

• the volume of the mug is 250 ml
• the mug is from a Czech porcelain factory in Dubí near Teplice
• the porcelain is decorated with my original hand painting using special porcelain paints (colored glazes), which were fired in a ceramic kiln at 1160 °C
• you can safely wash the porcelain in the dishwasher. The decorations on the mug are very durable
• use in the microwave oven is a matter of course

About hand painting:

• I hand paint on porcelain, so each product is original
• the resulting image may differ slightly from the photo
• I paint with special colored glazes that are very durable
