• porcelain mug decorated with reproductions of my pen drawings of a pagoda with a golden sun
• on the back of the mug is the kanji inscription "pagoda"
• pagodas are multi-story towers made of wood, which arrived in Japan in the 6th century along with Buddhism
• a pagoda often has five stories, each symbolizing one of the five Buddhist elements (earth, water, fire, wind, and sky)
• pagodas are part of temple complexes and prayer sites for performing ceremonies are located around them

About the porcelain:

• the mug's volume is 250 ml
• the mug is from a Czech porcelain factory in Dubí near Teplice
• the mug is hand-decorated with porcelain decals, which were fired in a ceramic kiln at 820 °C
  
• you can safely wash the porcelain in the dishwasher. The decorations on the mug are very durable.
• use in the microwave oven is a matter of course

About porcelain decals:

• porcelain decals are reproductions of my original pen drawings
• decals are applied to porcelain by hand, so the position of the images may vary slightly from the photograph
• the decals are produced by a specialized Czech company, they are high quality and durable
